David Hinton walked-on to Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 and redshirted. In 2010 he has played in eighteen games, so far. VCU plays in the Final Four in a few days.

Kevin Clark walked-on to St John’s basketball team in 2007 and was cut. His senior year he earned a scholarship.

Margot Benedict had never sailed before walking-on to the Yale University Sailing team in 2008. This year, as a junior, she was voted captain of the #4 nationally ranked Bulldogs.

Victor Ojeleye walked-on to the Kansas State University basketball team in 2008-09. In 2009-10 he played in 21 games and was first team all-academic Big 12.
