I think it is nearly impossible to be equal, but it is possible to be fair.

The big thing we do is to plan every season for the year. We have six different sessions within our year. We plan to the day...

We have high expectations; both on and off the court.  It is said that high expectations don’t change after graduation.  I believe that is the most important thing.  Once you set the expectations high then you have to put the structure behind it. (more…)

We have always stressed that all of us as individuals will make sacrifices for the team. The coaching staff and kids have truly bought into the fact we will play as a team. Once kids buy into that, everything else seems to be easier; both offensively and defensively. - Coach Martin

My job is bigger than just coaching basketball.  When my day comes and I go before God Almighty and He speaks with me, He won’t ask me about my wins and losses.  What He will ask me is with every chance I had to get with a young person did I try to help them the right way in their life. (more…)

A team must work to improve it’s skill by paying close attention to the minutia of details. Whether in the off-season or during the tournament, we try to improve even the smallest of details.

A team must have high expectations.  Everyone has a desire to win, but you must also have a desire to prepare to win.  Everyone wants to win a state championship.  But you have to do all the necessary details in order to put yourself in a position to win that state championship.  It’s easy to say, it is hard to do.
