Tony Burnett is a University of Southern California track athlete. After meeting a couple of football coaches he walked-on to the football team last fall. This spring, he earned a scholarship.

Daniel Hardy Jr walked-on to the University of Idaho to play wide receiver in 2006 at 6’3 190lbs. In 2010 he was the starting Tight End at 6’4 242 lbs and a Mackey Award semifinalist and 2nd team all WAC.

Cody Morgan walked-on to Syracuse University in 2009. He didn’t play in one game that year. So far in 2010, he has played in four out of eight.

Ryan Whalen was a recruited walk-on to Stanford University in 2007. In 2010 he was elected the team captain. In June 2011 he was drafted by the Bengals.

Leon Beckum walked-on to the Indiana University football team in 2007. In 2009 he earned a scholarship. In 2010 he became the starting linebacker.

Mike Hass walked-on to play wide receiver for Oregon State University in 2001 because he had no scholarship offer. In 2005 he won the Fred Biletnikoff Award for the best wide receiver in college football.

Ricky Weina walked-on to play football for Northwestern University. His first year he didn’t play in one game. His third year he played in eight games and started one.
